SERENA FORCINA

Singer
Serena Forcina, known in the world of art as GIN, was born on January 3, 1994, in the Marche hinterland, into a family where music accompanied life every day. At the tender age of 14, she began to take an interest in vocal techniques and guitar accompaniment while listening to Italian and international artists. Her interest initially leaned towards pop music, but she later delved into jazz, blues, soul, rock, and music in all its diverse beauty. This marked the beginning of her journey in the field.
Her first experiences included participating in the local show “Fiore d’oro,” where she secured a second-place ranking. She organized a show under the name “Silver Notes,” where she presented and performed her songs. Serena was also invited as a guest to the bullfight of Cupra Marittima for two editions and took part in various charity shows.
She then moved on to “Mix Factor,” a local show from Abruzzo, where she clinched the first-place position. Her journey led her to more prominent competitions such as the “Live Video Festival,” where she reached the semifinals, and the “Area Sanremo Tour,” where she made it to the finals in the city of flowers. Serena also underwent various vocal training sessions with renowned Italian artists. Subsequently, she participated in the “Music Fest Tour,” advancing to the semifinals.
In addition to her competition achievements, Serena made an appearance as an extra in the music video of “La Rua” for the song “Non ho la tristezza,” directed by Tiziano Russo, known for his work with Negramaro. She collaborated with several local bands, performing live across Marche, Abruzzo, and Lazio.
Soon after, Serena’s passion turned towards creating original music. She initially produced her own songs, and later, through her role as a chorister in a tribute band dedicated to Raffaella Carrà, she met a guitarist and songwriter, leading to the inception of the “Noise” project. This unpublished rock project explores songs addressing significant social issues and gained recognition through interviews in newspapers and local TV.
As of today, Serena is actively engaged in various musical projects, continuing to evolve and share her talent with the world.
